Hi! Welcome to Shut the Front Dorr — a place for all things decor, design + lifestyle. I’m Rachael Dorr, a Denver blogger/influencer, as well as a wife, mom of two very active little humans + corporate event planner (I wear a lot of hats these days).

I started Shut the Front Dorr a few years ago because I wanted a way to connect with other women + mothers to share experiences, ideas, favorite products, recipes and much more. This space has evolved quite a bit over the last year as we started the process of building our custom dream house. I quickly realized that people wanted to see + hear all about the process, as well as have a place to look for links to specific products or just general guidance + advice for taking on their own home-building project.
